IFBOA forms relationship with The Harmonie Group

Bedford, MA - June 18, 2008

We are pleased to announce that IFBOA has formed a relationship with The Harmonie Group. By way of introduction, Harmonie is a network of 57 independent law firms located throughout the US. Also, Harmonie has relationships with legal defense firms in Canada, Mexico, Europe, and Japan. Harmonie member defense firms handle complex and difficult high stakes litigation and legal matters for corporations, third party administrators and insurance companies. Many of the firms also have their own aviation defense practice groups. Firms are subjected to a rigorous review process to meet Harmonie's standards, ethics and values before they are invited to join. The Harmonie Group is pleased to provide on-line access at www.harmonie.org.

We see this as a significant opportunity for IFBOA and its members. Through this new relationship with the IFBOA, our members will have access to Harmoine and its member law firms providing the following benefits:

Education (Hyannis Trade Show)

Harmonie conducts regional seminars around the country that IFBOA and its membership may attend at no charge. Seminars in the past have covered transportation issues, products liability issues, employment practices, premises liability, and similar topics. All have a basis in the legal subject matter but also provide important risk management suggestions on handling difficult business issues. Harmonie has also agreed to have, from time to time, its member firm attorneys available to provide direct educational updates exclusively for IFBOA members. The first such opportunity will be at the September 12th event at the IFBOA Hyannis Trade Show. We will also be working with Harmonie on an event for next spring.

Emergency Response

Cost control and mitigation start at the beginning of every case. Many cases require immediate action. One service Harmonie provides for just such an exigency is its on-line 24 hour emergency response directory. In cooperation with our Canadian friends, their North American 24 Hour Emergency Response Network was developed specifically for high risk operations where accidents may occur. In addition to getting a lawyer on the ground where you need "eyes and ears", Harmonie can also recommend adjusters, accident reconstructionists, criminal lawyers, photographers, videographers, and more should the need arise.

The Right Lawyer

One tactical effort everyone must confront is finding the right attorney for your legal needs at the right time. Harmonie has several customized directories to quickly and efficiently guide you to the right person, with the right experience level, in the affected practice area. General Legal

Companies of all sizes face many legal issues that are unrelated to claims, losses, and litigation. These general legal issues can include contracts, indemnity agreements, vendor disputes, corporate matters and more. Many of the Harmonie member firms also have business lawyers who can advise companies of all sizes on the "everyday" legal issues which confront many of us as fixed based operators.
