Certified FBO General Aviation Manager (CGAM) Program

The IFBOA CGAM Program provides certification candidates with the opportunity to achieve industry-wide recognition for achievement in FBO management professional training.

By virtue of earning a CGAM General Aviation Manager designation, and by demonstrating ability to exceed industry standards, Program graduates help ensure their odds of qualifying for key present and future FBO management positions.

The IFBOA CGAM Program, specially designed and developed by hands-on FBO management experts in collaboration with the Cambridge Group, LLC, and Onyx Aviation, LLC, is rapidly being regarded as the industry standard for FBO manager training.

The Program promotes the pursuit of excellence in the application of existing knowledge bases for both current and aspiring FBO Managers. By being tested on what they know and have learned to date, existing FBO Managers will benefit from the unique refresher and update values of the training.

Aspiring FBO managers currently employed in the FBO field (and who can meet certain work experience and related industry training requirements), will benefit by their exposure to top-producing industry leaders and training materials geared to qualifying for increased career responsibilities.

Program graduates will be allowed to use the CGAM designation initials after their names. They will have demonstrated – to themselves, their families and to their existing and prospective employers – evidence of their outstanding career commitments to personal, professional and corporate success.
